Cardiac Heart Tissue Homogenization

Cardiac Tissue Homogenization

Cardiac Tissue Homogenizer
Are you wasting time in your lab trying to homogenize your heart samples with inferior homogenizing equipment?

PRO Homogenizers are ideal for tough cardiac heart samples and:
Provide consistent results

Keep your samples at ambient temperature with little to no heat emission

Are easy and convenient – no special tubes or beads to continuously buy

Provide no cross contamination*

PRO rotor-stator homogenizer generator probes are precision crafted with a very narrow clearance between the inner rotating shaft and outer tube/chamber.  This allows for quick, effective and repetitive processing, meaning you will get the results you want each and every time.
The variable speed of our homogenizers allows for the utmost control of your homogenization to ensure precise results.

*Our multi-sample homogenizing systems such as the Multi-Gen 7XLDPS-20 and Multi-Prep ensure sample purity by avoiding cross contamination between samples.

Regardless of which PRO homogenizer setup is selected, most homogenization can be completed in a matter of seconds which eliminates heat production and ensures preservation of the sample.

    Homogenization of Biofuel Materials

    Homogenizing

    PRO Homogenizer for Biofuel Applications

PRO Scientific high shear homogenizers are effective at breaking down the various agricultural waste products such as cornstalks, poplar trees and switch grass.

Depending upon the sample size we can pinpoint the exact ideal motor unit and probe, but most application can be handled with a PRO250 homogenizer with either a 20 or 30mm generator probe would be most ideal.

Watch a PRO250 break down Turf Grass.

The key to processing this sample is as follow:
    -              Precut the sample to 5-7mm, this prevents the sample from clogging in the generator probe as well as prevent it from floating to the surface
    -              Use 100ml liquid medium when processing the entire 4-6g of sample
    -              Use as narrow a container as possible when processing (this prevents the samples from escaping the generator probe)
    -              Move the container around during processing to capture all of the sample
    -              Slowly increase the speed of the homogenizer to stay in control of your sample...going too fast may clog the generator probe
    ·        Any remaining sample could be added back into the current homogenized liquid medium and be re-run with or without the aid of an enzymatic solution

While our high-shear mechanical homogenizers can breakdown to a submicron level, some customers might find it advantageous to consider our DPS-20 Dual Processing Automated Homogenizing System, either because they want to break down further than we can with a high-shear homogenizer and/or they have a higher throughput need that automation of the process could address.

The DPS-20 Dual Processing System simplifies sample preparation by combining mechanical and ultrasonic (sonication) homogenizing and sonication into an automated, compact, noise controlled unit.  Its unique design allows the use of each homogenizing method dependently or independently of each other within a programmable or manual mode.  The automation of this system allows for repeat processing and consistent results, which frees up a large amount of valuable lab time.  If your particular application would not benefit from Dual Processing Homogenizing than either homogenizing method made be turned off.  This allows the DPS-20 to function as three separate automated systems, Automated Mechanical Homogenizer, Automated Sonicator or Automated Mechanical and Ultrasonic Homogenizer.  When an automated system is not needed, PRO Scientific manufactures a variety of hand-held & post-mounted homogenizers with the ability to homogenize various volumes (.03ML to 20L) at speeds of up to 30,000 RPM.
